LittleBigPlanet 2 delayed to 2011

Uh-oh, there appears to be some trouble in the land of LittleBigPlanet 2. Media Molecule has officially announced via their website that the sequel to the adorable Sackboys' game has been pushed back to next year.

"We've all been working like powered-up space ninjas and we're almost there, but because we love what we've made, and we love our little sack-friends, and most of all we love all our fans out there, we couldn't let you all get together until we knew we were giving you the best experience imaginable."





And because they want us to get the best experience imaginable, we're jut gonna have to wait sometime in January 2011 to see what wonderful treats they've cooked up for us once again in LittleBigPlanet 2.





At least with these guys, we know they mean business.

I doubt it was a bug. Maybe they want to polish it a bit more before they release it. I'm glad they did this but I'm sad because I was really looking forward it this November.

Who cares??

PS3 gamers seem to only play childish games! For example LittleBigPlanet and EyePet.

I wouldn't let either grace my beautiful and sexy XBOX 360! Microsoft makes games for a more adult audience. Well Done Microsoft, Well Done Indeed!!

it would be a bad idea to not delay it believe it or not. you really can't release two heavy hitters for the PS3 within 2 weeks of each other. you got GT5 at the beginning of the month and then LBP2 a couple weeks later it just wouldn't work out and would drive some customers who want both but lack the funds for both to pick one or the other. it doesn't bother me its being delayed. i'd rather getting the most out of the game as possible.

well... I trust MM... they made everything they promised and even more... i guess the game is already finished, they're just waiting for a better release date... with less competition. Which i don't blame them at all... excellent move IMO.
