SackBoy, when they said there'll be lots of events running up to the launch of the Sackboys, they sure weren't kidding. Yep, Media Molecule's got another gimmick up their sleeve, and this time, it's the LittleBigChallenge 006 - Buddy Icons.As you may have guessed from the title, the challenge is for you to create your very own Sackboy/ SackGirl Buddy icons. Just download the Buddy Icon package and make your own Buddy Icon within a 100x100 pixel frame. And as usual, as LittleBigPlanet is all for creativity, there are no limitations as to what kind of icon you'd like to create: animated, stills, text only -- whatever you want!
You can send your entries to the same address as with the Wallpaper challenge, playstation_community_support@playstation.sony.com. Media Molecule will then be choosing the Top 20 Buddy Icons, who will then receive exclusive downloads on LittleBigPlanet.com.
Neat, huh? Oh, and also, make sure you use flickr to share your work with other LBP members. You have until October 3 to pass your entries. Contest closes at 11:59 PST. As for the Challenge Kit, you can head on over to the LBP site to download it. Good luck and have fun!
