You'd be amazed how much trouble one can unleash just by opening a box. We'll be able to see just how much trouble in Gamecock Media Group and Spark Unlimited's upcoming FPS, Legendary (PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3). Today's update for this you against mythical creatures comes in the form of some Pre-Alpha gameplay footage.

For those who are unfamiliar with this video game, here's a bit of a primer. Legendary casts players as Charles Deckard, a thief who unwittingly unleashes pandemonium when he opens Pandora's Box. In the video, you'll see just how much mayhem (Gryphons, Golems, and Werewolves, among other mythical beasts) gets out of the box.

Anyway, we'll leave you to check out the video and tell us if you like what you see. Legendary is slated for release summer this year.

This game have no imagination... Or it looked good on paper but... lol

Anyway, for wierd shooters, I'm more into Crysis 2 or Haze or etc (TONS of good shooters these days), but this one look really poor.

i think it looks like it'll be a fun game but with a mediocre story. just my opinion.

» Half-Life 2

The shot of the building with the beam blazing out from it looks a lot like that game.

I agree with Dremth, though -- looks like the gameplay will be fun, but the story will be really lackluster. I'm a big story buff, so that may just make it a rental instead for me (though I hardly ever buy games regardless).

Nothing really impressive... Look at Prototype. It is also in NY... the concept is a whole lot refreshing. There are just so many gun shooters out there for 360, can't they trying something else like Bioshock?
