Talk away, but please, as with all sorts of leaks, remain skeptical or call a plumber. seiferguy cites another Something Awful member who doubts that this is true, but then Sony Liverpool did mention this in an interview. To be on the safe side, we'll keep it under Rumor until confirmation.
Strange, though, that we haven't heard much about this detail from Japanese F1CE drivers, who already have the game (except for online multiplay) in the Land of the Rising Sun. Hey, anyone there, can you tell us if Japanese versions of the game have PSP connectivity?

Just a useless feature, but any money theres an advert [on the cover or something] for PSP connectivity.
Is this ALL they are going to use this "Connectivity" for?
Because it happens to be the exact same in the ps3 version of ridge racer does it not? Just a rear view mirror.... Lame.
This is really quite stupid, when I'm playing a racing game, I want to pay attention to 1 screen only.
Having said that, I do hope Kojima makes an interesting use of the PSP-PS3 connectivity. Receiving transmissions from Col. Campbell and Otacon while the action takes place on the big screen, or using the PSP to mimick a hacking device... now those would be great features in MGS4.
who has room to b.i.t.c.h? It's feature that adds extremely little to the game. But still, it gives some users an option to use what they got. It's about as pointless as the xbox camera in rainbow six.
Besides, it seems this game isn't reviewing too well...it needs as many selling points as it can get.
wow, i was hoping for much more, but i guess even though this is sucky as hell, it's not that bad. you could put ur psp on top of the tv and it would be like in a real car. still sucks tho.

Well, it would be pretty sweet if your PSP could act as a wireless controller as well. not that it would be all that comfortbale, but it would save a bit of hassle. I like the idea though. A bit useless, but whatever.

I got a stand just after I got my PSP. The stand sits just below my TV, so I could use this just fine.
It sure beats having a "look back" button which means you can't see where you are going.

He only used the rearview mirror function though, not side mirrors...but really, do you need side mirrors with a full rear view mirror ??
I agree it's kind of frivilous, but also agree that hey, if you don't want to use it, don't. I also have a stand I could put on my TV, but my TV is only 27 inches, so I sit pretty close and would still be able to see the PSP well, but thos of you with huge ass TV's that sit back 10-12 feet, well that probably wouldn't work....
So, if you are going to take your eyes of the TV to look down at your lap, you might as well just hit triangle or whatever they use as the look back button...

No actually you can already stream your pictures, movies or music from the ps3 onto the psp ... or even off a usb drive or media cards connected to the PS3. Movies automatically reformat for the PSP screen as well...as they say ignorance is bliss so you must be a very very happy person.
Pretty soon it will be possible from any access point in the world.
If Sony or other software devs want to put this §h|t in or out of this fú¢king game then so be it. they are the FÚçk|ng developers! You dont like it then dont fu¢k|n buy it! you dont have to whine like *****es in forums because you dont like or love the game. Fù¢k|ng bit¢he§! think about it before ú post your shrivelled little d|¢k§ in forums. grow the FU¢k up! go to school, make you own game! without or with a trillion rear view mirrors. think before you post Fû¢k!
the psp can give you so much and still you crave for more. oh people, desires are endless. i will not be surprised the next time i hear news that people wants the psp to run linux/windows 100 percent and will bug sony for it and also blame sony and say that they getting ripped off and say a lot of bad things about sony. and i dont see people complaining why you have to purchase a browser for the DS which in fact is free for the psp. just be happy that you can see rearview of the race, it a free bonus for crying out loud.
you will see that QJ is asking the japanese to voice out if the japanese version of formula 1 CE 2006 has connectivity, hten someone replied, then he gets STFU and boo? very bad attitude, yet very coward coz you arent even boy enough to register!
