Leaked footage for cancelled Star Wars Battlefront 3 |
Ó
Though that might be the case, it does sure look impressive as it is (err, was). It's a shame, really. Too bad we'll never see what Battlefront 3 will eventually look like would it have been released in the future. *sniff*

wow, that is very impressive for an early build.
i just hope a company (a good one mind you) takes the game and continues it. i love the fact that you could take a fighter from the ground all the way into space
i would definetely buy this game at the stage its at right now even if there are bugs
i would buy the game in it's alpha stage
i really, really hope another company finishes what radical has started
wtf? How could they cancel a game like this? You even play as Darth Vader for god's sake! This game would be instant success..
and they released a game like Haze? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUCCCCCCCCC CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC CCCCCKKKKKKKKKK KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK KKKKK
you could be darth vader in Battlefront 2...
anyways im totally pissed, this would have been a day one buy for me...why would they cancel so far in production!?
seriously it better still come out..
i really hope someone takes over this starwars battlefront project. I loved playing the first two.
Has anyone tried the new lord of the rings game? i looks like a battlefront type game.
I loved Star Wars battlefront since the first one...well FRD isn't dead yet, they're just in a bad spot right now. Hope remains.
def a day one buy for me too.
solid and very fluid animations, smooth graphics, great physics engine, awesome textures, cool effects.
wayyyy better than SW:the force unleashed which also has tons of bugs.
i know they have the only looking at online games but maybe like ghost busters they should consider this one
I have. But I don't really like it as much as I do battlefront. It doesn't feel the same, and the controls are a bit wacky.
This is the rumor going around the news sites
After Free Radical Design closed its doors last month, the fate of Star Wars: Battlefront III and other titles remains unsure. The game is now rumored to be in the works at another U.K. studio: Rebellion, which created Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron for the PSP.
I wouldn't be surprised, it has Star Wars in it so they'll do everything they can to get it to market
would be a shame to let it go to waste :/

looks like some good s%h%i%t
It seems pretty well 'finished', if you ask me. Almost smells of 'falsified web hype' (the game is actually still in-production somewhere, with a pending release date, but they wanted to 'leak' this video to get everyone asking for it). Besides, I would think Lucasfilm would have a pretty solid contract for licensing of their properties. (Otherwise, the source code --and their IP-- could wind-up in a post-bankruptcy sale or online auction.)
Doesn't Rebellion Developments have the game now? They made Renegade Squadron.
