If you plan on picking up a Limited Edition copy of Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the PlayStation 3 when it comes out on June 12, then you might want to start placing a call to the nearest GameStop. According to the Kotaku blog, GameStop will be the only shop to carry this game in North America. In addition, there are no plans of the limited edition of the game being released in other shops at any point in the future.
If you decide to pre-order the game, you might want to know that Konami has announced a pre-order program which will provide those who buy the game from select stores a copy of the Metal Gear Saga Vol. 2 DVD while supplies last.

I Hope thats the actual cover art for mgs4 it looks sick i cant wait for this to be released my ps3 has been collecting dust since i finished both heavenly sword and uncharted in a rental.
Gamestop owns Eb Games. I wonder if Canadian EB Games stores will have this limited edition. Anyone have some insight on this?

THats the dumbest idea I've heard in a long time! Forcing someone to shop at a particular store to get kewl bonus stuff is wrong.
already pre-ordered what my Canadian EB told me was the "collectors edition" about two weeks ago. It was between that and the regular so I just pre-ordered that. I think thats what this is talking about for anyone who was asking about the Canadian version.
I also got my BETA Disc today finally :)...sick cover.
My local EB took my preorder a while back and I switched for collector about 2 weeks ago...
my shop's retailer (indie) also has the LE listed though, I'll verify with them but they'll most likely have it in store everywhere...
