Konami, Mercury Steam to develop new title for PS3, Xbox 360

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH and Mercury Steam have announced a new title for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 home video game consoles.

Details are still scarce at this point, but the as-yet unnamed title will reportedly be a major part of Konami's 2009-2010 release lineup. Konami's European Development team has been charged with overseeing the title's release.

Apart from the obligatory "we are happy to be working with [insert name here]" stuff, this is pretty much all that we could glean from the press wire released by Konami. Keep checking back here for more updates on this mysterious new title.

I agree, but it's bad business and in this day and age with the cost of games companies gotta do what they gotta do to stay afloat, plus we're already getting a killer Konami exclusive it's called Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot
