Kojima: Snake won't die, Metal Gear Solid will live on |

Remember when the legendary Hideo Kojima said Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be the last? Fear not, because spirits will live on after Solid Snake's last mission. In an interview with Dutch gaming website Gamert, Kojima confirmed that more MGS games are coming.When asked if it was difficult to say goodbye to the franchise, Kojima replied:
No, actually not. I believe the MGS range will continue.
Just like the James Bond franchise. This is a job for my new staff and
they may use the MGS for a new franchise however they like. I won't be
a part of this according the details, but will only be the producer. The only sad thing is to say goodbye to Solid Snake, because I created that character.

Hideo Kojima is a genius! I'd hate to see him go, but I'm sure he's not going to be gone completely. He'll be hiding like Solid and snap our necks when we're not paying attention. ALERT!!!
look at what his staff did on portable ops, it was reported that he was too busy on the mgs4 dev and let his boys handle the portable. it was like a turd that continues to smell (a rehash is on its way) . choppy animation, boring gameplay, boring story. IMHO, mgs1 on psx was waaay better than portable ops. if kojimawould leave, im sure all else would lose its luster...

Did you play the same game i did? MPO pwned. Choppy Animation: Well did you expect PS3 graphics? It's almost PS2 level. Boring Gameplay: Was there another portable ops that i didn't play? Gameplay rocked. Boring story: I really need to play your copy of MPO... Story really connected MPO and MG Yea MGS1 was better than PO, but its the best one PERIOD (not counting 4, which I think will be the best). The fact that a Special Edition is coming out proves that you're wrong

they can keep cloning him. They can have a natural progression, Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, and the new Gas Snake!
"Gas Snake" - Hilarious! I laughed out loud when I read that. I wonder what Gas Snake will use as weapons?
this just means that we will get to see Hideo's work in other games... which I must say, will be quite the treat. I think that it is time for the start of another epic series.
