Koei has send out word that Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has just achieved gold status, and is now ready for shipping.Unfortunately, there appears to have been a slight delay for the launch as BladeStorm's originally projected launch date of November 2 has been pushed to November 6. If it's any consolation, BladeStorm's demo for PSN and XBL has reportedly been getting good reactions, which will hopefully mean the full title is worth the wait.
The BladeStorm action-strategy title for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will put players behind the controls of a mercenary soldier, as they reenact some of the bloodier battles of the Hundred Years War during the 14th century. Expect to meet famous personalities from both sides of this conflict, including Jeanne d'Arc from France, and Edward, the Black Prince, from England.
