King of Fighters XII finally gets new official launch date |

2D fighting games have seen something of a resurgence these past few months, and that'll continue with the upcoming launch of King of Fighters XII. The latest entry in SNK's venerable fighting series has finally been upgraded from a TBA timeframe to a more specific release date.
As announced on the KoF XII Twitter, the game's official release date is now July 28, 2009, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. That's a full two days before the Japanese launch, as Destructoid points out. Better get right into practicing once you get your copy.

I am waiting for Tekken and this. I hope they will publish the new Samurai Showdown one from arcade too... but I am not sure they will... still keep my hope up...
Can't wait for this game to get released! SF4 was fantastic, but it was kind of a let down. Now, i'm waiting for my 2nd favorite fighting franchise to make it's come back. And also, finally Terry Bogards arms are finally 50 inches in diameter. Haha.
