Whew, that was quite a lot to pick up. Hopefully, SNK's gonna let us in on gameplay info. Until then, we'll be keeping track of this game, so stay tuned.

They should at least remake the sprites. Some of them have jaggy edges and the graphics seems like its made for PS2.
It was probably done on purpose to emphasize a classic art style and gameplay feel. Just a possibility.
Yeah I ain't a KoF fan but that really doesn't look great. Bit of overkill on the pyrotechnics in these shots too.
The sprites are remade. Jaggy edges often appear in screenshots while they can't be seen when in game. Check out the game in action. It hardly looks like a PS2 game.
See...KOF is for more advanced gamers. You can do alot of more combos...chain combos, only if you how to work with your character.
This games is going to be so much better than SF4....which to me....was to easy even on the hard level. SF4 is limited to only a few moves unlike KOF 12, you can do more.
