King of Fighter Athena's voice actress stalked |

Japan's Yomiuri Newspaper reports that a 27-year-old man was arrested in July for stalking and defaming voice actress Haruna Ikezawa. The man, also reported to be unemployed, was said to have written defamatory remarks on Ikezawa's homepage, asking for a meeting and specifically directing her to "come by herself" to Morioka City, his hometown.
It would appear that Ms. Ikezawa is no stranger to getting stalked as well, as she had also previously held a restraining order against a stalker who had been following her through the streets at night. Unless this is the same suspect, then she surely is a stalker-magnet.
Ms. Ikezawa voices Athena in The King of Fighters and Momoka Nishizawa in Sgt. Frog.

I'd read about this a lot in the past. It seems relatively common in Japan but they seem to celebrate voice actors moreso than in the west.
