There's still much to know and see about Killzone 3, but Sony has already given us the need-to-know details of the launch. In addition, the publisher also specified a few major titles that'll have 3D support at launch.

As announced by Guerrilla Games' Herman Hulst, Killzone 3 will launch February 2011 and, as promised, will be completely compatible with PlayStation Move and 3D gaming by then.

Sony also mentioned that apart from Killzone 3, games such as MotorStorm Apocalypse, NBA 2K11, Crysis 2, Gran Turismo 5, Tron Evolution, and the new Mortal Kombat game will all have 3D support as well.

Whats up with the 3d

thought theyre using "Active Shutter" technology

Went down to a store today, seemed more like polarised

Bad response rate, major ghosting, bit disappointed, although this was just a store demo no ps3 was hooked up

are they currently supporting several 3d mediums

3D games, while exciting still seems a bit premature. who in here actually has a 3D television? I know plenty of people who are planning on getting one, but i don't know anyone who actually has one yet.

In response to a previous post I do have a 3D TV. I love that fact that Sony was first out the gate with support and playable games/demos. At first it was thought that there would be a cost to add 3D support for games you already owned(i.e. Pain, Super Star Dust HD & Wipeout) but Sony made them free. Kudos for that. They all are pretty fun and don't give me headaches. I will say that of what they made available Pain looks the best in 3D IMHO.
