Killzone 3 goes gold, UK gets launch date

It's inching closer and closer. Now that Killzone 3 has been declared to have entered the gold status, we can now definitely feel things heating up even more for its arrival.

Sony made the announcement earlier that Guerrilla Games' much-awaited shooter has in fact already gone gold, and is now being manufactured to discs for retail shipment next month. Looks like everything's going pretty smoothly for Killzone 3.

 

 

We should be able to get our hands on it by next month, then. February 22nd is the date set for its North American release, while UK gets it three days later, on February 25th.

Am I the only one that thinks that it's a little weird how the US is getting this game before the UK considering it's made in Europe?

We we (UK) get Pokémon Black and White one day before the US does even though it's from Japan and localised mostly in the US. I think we've shifted away from distributing games at different times in different regions pretty well; I reckon that these tiny rifts likely aren't intentional, and are probably because of distribution issues.
