Killzone 2 uses the SIXAXIS while you use your sniper - Image 1Better try not to have too much coffee if you're gonna be sniping in Killzone 2.

According to the latest news from the beta, you'll be using the SIXAXIS when using the Sniper, so you'll need to keep your hands cool and steady to get a good aim.

The news comes from PS3-Sense (translation from N4G), who reports:

The open beta of Killzone 2 kicked off a few weeks ago and this also means we are getting some more information about the game.

The SIXAXIS controller also has its integration in the game but then on a special kind of way. If you are using your sniper in Killzone 2 you need to keep your controller 'steady' to get a nice and good aim. If you move the controller, your sniper will be dancing across your screen.

Well chalk that up as another epic game to sport a great use for the SIXAXIS. My personal favorite game to use motion-sensing is Heavenly Sword. Thwack!

WTF!?!?!?!?!?!

This sixaxis motion control functionalilty adds immersion to all games that take advantage of sonys offereings, which research says gives more sales for compainces creating more immersion rich countries in the video game discs.

ha, so that's why my gun was shaking so much.

Didn't know about this. I'll keep it in mind. I had no problems sniping all before but I noticed my guy would have spaz attacks out of nowhere. I thought maybe it was the thunder from the weather doing it but meh.
