Well, Shady0808, guess you didn't have to wait for Americans to get out of bed after all. This one is for jmak0 and all our other readers in Europe (eh, what).
The Killzone 2demo is now live on PSN Europe.
*UPDATE* The PlayStation blog has new details on the North American demo. According to the blog, the demo is now available in the region for people with pre-orders:
Those that pre-ordered in-store should be able to use the voucher card, while those that pre-ordered through GameStop.com should receive your redeemable code later today.
Also, it seems they'll be having a promo on how to get yourself one of these babies (that's not rendered, people). No details yet though.

The demo is such a tease...
5 minutes is certainly a bit disappointing. I'm only like 20% through my download though, and even if it is 5 minutes I can't wait. Hooray for unlimited sick days at my employer!!!

Can't believe they got people this hyped for this. That was the shortest demo I've ever played.
The graphics and sound were some of the best I've seen/heard tho. Can't wait to play this on my new Onkyo sound system
Anyone know if the controls are customizable in the final game? I hated all the preset options

Alternate2 was the one for me, and uped the x and y sensitivity, was just too slow otherwise.

I hated ALL the presets. One thing was wrong for me on all of them. I'd like to have zoom on L1 and shoot on R1, crouch on L2, melee on circle or R2. I'd settle for crouch somewhere else, but zoom L1 and shoot R1. Far as I remember it didn't have that

Melee on R3 kinda sucks, but it doesn't seem useful anyway.
I just wish all games had completely customizable controls. Maybe some day

I don't like this game from the demo.. I guess there's a learning curve I have to get through. I also just got my PS3 and the only FPS I've been playing is MGS4 haha. Took me a long time to get used to those controls too.
but just go to the menu and change it to alternate 2 controls you will find it much smoother, also you can change the setting so when you zoom it does not lock into it, then you will have same controls as call of duty 4 which is the best ive seen for a shooter

Demo is definately sweet....I like the gameplay which is like a mixture of halo and COD....
The demo is pretty short though, and didn't show off enough of the game....like there are barely any destructible environments.
The game looks like nothing I have seen before, it has a very unique aesthetic to it. However, I still have to say that they did not acheive the level of detail as the infamous E3 trailer.....anyone who plays the game than looks at the screen shot at the top of this article can cleary tell that....
