Killzone 2 beta keys being sent to European gamers |

PS3Life.nl also received a tip-off that the closed beta was launched today - though I'm not sure if the Google translation from Dutch was accurate. I'm not sure if they meant the launch of the internal beta within Sony, or the actual European beta. The screenshots they posted indicate the latter (check out the first pic below).
Since I was deprived of a beta key because I don't live in the area, I can't validate this for myself. If you're from Europe and you got yourself a beta key, give a holler in the comments if the beta really has launched.
Whether or not it's the internal beta though, the screenshots they posted look like they came from a beta if not the beta.

I want me one of them Beta Keys...I was denied the LBP and the Resistance 2 betas, so I hope to god I get me one of these...PLEASE SONY lol as if Sony would read QJ...

For those of you who are intrested, here is a translation from dutch (by me, not by a translation stite) Killzone 2 closed beta started today -------------------------------------------- An anonymous person tipped PS3Life.nl that Killzone 2 closed beta started today. In august there was news that speculated Killzone 2 beta would be released early October, today it seems that Sony has put the beta online and send out keys to people. According to the tipper the graphics are lifelike and the camera moves along smoothly. He also adds there are many objectives to reach and there are bots that protect your spawning spot. He also likes the shadows and lighting. The tipper also gave us some exclusive screenshots of the beta, these can be viewed below. Well I'm a European gamer and I haven't had a key :-( I got a key for the Motorstorm Pacific Rift Demo though, so hopefully I might get one for this :-)

Unfortunately you have to be selected by SCEE to become a beta tester (this is stated in the email) and you will get keys to all betas for as long as they require you to be a tester. Pacific Rift was different because it was just a demo and only selected people were given the opportunity to have a go. I doubt many beta testers were given a key for that but would have got a key for Resistance 2, SOCOM, LBP and now this. There are too many awesome games to play at the moment.
