Kane & Lynch movie to star Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton - Image 1What we're hearing from Hollywood looks promising for the upcoming movie by Lionsgate, which will be a direct adaptation of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, PC) idea but rehashed for an often critical movie audience. Aside from Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton taking up the lead roles, Transformers The Movie producer (and accidental Blu-ray lover) Michael Bay will be strapping into the producer's seat.

Couple those with writer Kyle Ward (Fiasco Heights), and moviegoers and Kane & Lynch fans are in for a twisted, action ride of their life. And it probably should be, as Hollywood's rendering of Eidos Interactive's Lara Croft Tomb Raider, with sultry Angelina Jolie on the lead, stands as the most successful video game-based film to date.

That's US$ 275 million in the box office to kick out of the limelight. Details on other characters or the movie's plot is as yet unclear, but we're hoping to hear more in the coming months. But first, there's going to be AvP movie sequel Aliens vs. Predator Requiem to wish for this Christmas, and we wouldn't want to spoil the mood.

Keep it right here for more updates.

» Dare I say it...

That actually sounds liks a good cast lineup. Although Bruce will have to start growing some hair if he's gonna prepare for the role (Assuming he's Kane).
