Here, Poole elaborates more on battle details. Pretty exciting, the way he describes it all. They talk a lot about the Cestus towards the beginning. It's one of the coolest weapons in GoW Chains after all, in the form of the Gauntlet of Zeus - and man, it actually helped me a lot to finish off the last boss (ka-pow, you over-sized bird-brain!)! Here in GoW3, Kratos can actually throw the Cestus around, while they're still attached to his arms via the chains - get momentum enough and you can clap together the Cestus for a big boom!
Then there's the fact that you can use your environment to your advantage - throw an enemy against a wall and smash its skull in (ka-blamo!). As we heard before, they're even upping the AI in this game and sometimes tactics will come into play - especially when dealing with a horde of grunts and their master centaur.
Another interesting part in the interview involves Poole discussing how they take some inspiration fighting games. For one, he mentions Tekken and how they brought in combos for GoW3.
Thanks again to Santhiel!
