Julian Eggebrecht on Lair's creatures, downloadable content, possible demo |
Ó

The creatures in Lair are pretty diverse. On the ground, there are ground army types, horses, and more advanced beasts like the Taurus and elephant-like warbeasts. The skies, meanwhile, are full of flying mantae filled with Hydrogen, different dragon races and types, and several types of spider-like flying insects. Perfect for laying waste to the game's destructible environments.
On the online side of things, Eggebrecht revealed that some story strings that had to be cut from the game could resurface as downloadable content. "Those levels would fit right in and would make the game into a true director's cut. In addition, we are talking about new armor types and other upgrades to help the player. Well, and then there is of course the issue of additional dragon types."
Lair currently doesn't have a multiplayer mode, but Eggebrecht revealed that they are "keeping it for potential sequels." A demo also seems to be in the works. "I don't know about the 'when' just yet, but I expect that we will do a demo."

Hello we are not in the PS1 era anymore. Games these days should have Multiplayer. --------- PS3 is a piece of crap.
Dis is wot next gen is all abouts, astonishing visuals coupled with unparallelled(sp) gameplay! TakinGaming to da next level! Lair is what or should be of Sega's legendary Panzer Dragoon series should be like on next gen systems. Too bad Sega are just rehashing their old stuff (I.E Alien Syndrome, Afterburner etc) and not really moving forwards, instead they choose to play safe, catering all sorts of genres and platforms (PC) which in ways has diluted alot of Sega's reputation.
Ignore me, i make no sense. and yes this game is sooooo sexy
Ok FunkyGibbon, calm down, walk to the front door, open, take a breath of fresh air, and reflect on your life... too much getting sexually excited over a game is bad for your health ok?
..is a powerful emotion, as you clearly show, mr. nonsense.... lol... go get a life... or some sex... apparently you need it!
I've had enough sex already today, my butt is really sore from working off the repair bill for my crappy 360.
I hate that companies are now removing features that should be in game play to offer them up later as "additional download material". COMPLETE BS! So they can't finish the game with all of the desired features so they ship incomplete and offer those features as extras. Booo - I smella rat!
