Motorstorm - Image 1Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCE Studios Japan) has finally decided to take heart on the Japanese gamers who want to get a hold of the online expansion pack for MotorStorm.

It has announced that it will, indeed, be bringing the online pack to the land of the rising sun on June 20, and the free update will be bringing a 12-player online play dose of fun for our Asian counterparts. Oh, not to mention the attack mode that will be there as well. Anyhow, the download would need about 542 MB of hard disk space, so you Japanese gamers better stock up on space.

Apart from that, Sony will also be bringing in a demo along with the expansion pack, which will have in it a single course and two course. Again, though, no form of multiplayer play.

In case you're clueless as to why this is such great news, that's because Japan got MotorStorm first, but not without a catch: they didn't have any kind of multiplayer action. Now that's really something to be bummed about, eh? But with this good news, it's time to celebrate! Time for everybody to get a round of sake (no minors allowed, though. LOL!)
