twistedmetalWhat could David Jaffe be working on right now? A lot of us sure are wishing it's Twisted Metal, but unfortunately, it looks like Mr. Jaffe's got something else on his mind.

 

 

 

On his Twitter account, he said:

 

 

 

"By the way, I WISH we were making a new Twisted Metal. Making game you've already worked on is tons easier cuz your core blueprint is already there. This new game design stuff tho? Man, that is hard... reason I'm so stressed these days!"

 

 

 

What we can be sure of based on his tweet is that a) he says he's not working on Twisted Metal, and b) it is in fact a new game altogether. Not surprising that the pressure should be on him now. E3's just a few weeks away after all.

C) He's lying! Well, I can still dream.. I mean, he sure does spend a lot of time talking about Twisted Metal for not actually working on the game. I'll believe him after E3 cause you just never know what kind of surprises E3 may have.

Sounds A LOT like Squaresoft with Final Fantasy VII doesn't it? I believe him though. I understand that Sony made him give up GOW and TM in order to go independant. It also sounds like it's NOT another Calling All Cars, fortunately. Here's to hoping that we'll get a real TM or Warhawk reboot!

that is an option, right. he could be just misleading us to keep that surprise element. or d) he could be doing BOTH twisted metal and a new IP.

I hope he has Twisted Metal finished and has started a new project cause they teased a PS3 Twisted Metal in Head On, so it has to come at some point

How many teams does Eat Sleep Play have? The way he said it almost sounds like someone ELSE is working on Twisted Metal. There has been quite a lot of rumors about a Twisted Metal game in development, and by know we should know that were there is smoke, there is fire in this industry.

i call bullshit. go back to the e3 lineup listing that leaked. almost 50% or more of that list have already been announced. lbp 2 killzone 3 etc. there is a new twisted metal. he's just tryin to pull wool over the eyes pre e3. good job david. thanks. but no.
