It's raining cash as Heavy Rain sells 1.5 million units

Heavy Rain launched early this year, and while we're down to the last four months of 2010 (my, how fast time flies!), demand for the game just keeps flooding in. Evidence to this claim would be the fact that it has so far moved some 1.5 million units to date.

David Cage shared this information at the GDC in Cologne, along with numbers showing that the game scores an average of 90%, based on the 500 reviews made so far. Given these statistics, Cage, along with the rest of Naughty Dog, is confident that by the time 2010 closes, they'll be up to some 2 million units sold.

A Move edition for Heavy Rain will released later this year in time for the PS3's new motion controller.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Naughty Dog has nothing to do with Heavy. Good for Quantic Dream though. Can't wait to see what else they will release in the future.

good job, quantic dream! although i must say i was expecting it to have sold more at this point.
