It's not the "PS3 Nunchuk", it's the "Navigation Controller" |

So says the information sheet up on the US PlayStation Blog, "The supplementary controller adds diretional buttons, an analog stick, and two shoulder buttons into the PlayStation Move's control scheme. Used in most of the PlayStation Move games that require navigating an in-game character, it replicates the control features of the left side of the DualShock wireless controller into your PlayStation Move experience."
Here are the key features of the Navigational Controller:
- Wireless control completely untethered from the PlayStation®Move motion controller.
- Intuitive navigation of in-game characters
- Easy and intuitive XMB™ menu navigation.
- Built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery
- Charge the controller and automatically pair with the PS3™ system via a USB cable
- Up to two motion controllers and two navigation controllers can be connected at once to the PS3™ system.
- Note- DUALSHOCK®3 wireless controller can be used in place of the navigation controller for all games that are compatible with the navigation controller
Nice name, by the way.

hmm, that doesn't sound good. That means it can only handle two sets of motion-sensing controllers at once. Even the Wii can handle 4 sets.

I wonder if Move could match the precision of a keyboard and mouse in shooter games, should be interesting to see how it turns out.

4 controllers = 2 Nav-controllers + 2 move's.
The wii actually does the same as the nunchuck is connected to the wiimote (which is sending all the information between the console and the controller).

'Intuitive'?
Jesus Christ, Sony.

So if I wanted to play with 4 people we would have to just use the "MOVE" controller than. Much like 4 Wiimotes. That's disappointing. No local 4 player FPS then.

cause thats how i roll
why would you want more than 2 players, (put it like this, very few hardcore games would handle 2+, will make the casual suffer though, thing is it wouldnt be difficult to overcome this problem inanother rev)

there is no shortage of usb ports if sony need more then this will do the same thing as rockband do. they give you a usb hub which uses 1 up on the ps3 and gives you 4.
if you some how need more than that then you can buy a bigger hub
