Irresistable Resistance 3 will be "darker" |

If there's anything that you should prepare yourself for when Resistance 3 comes out, it should be the storyline. As early as now, people in the know, like Senior Community Manager James Stevenson, is claiming that the third iteration of the franchise will definitely be "darker."
In response to the query if Resistance 3 would be more like to Fall of Man or Resistance 2, he said that it will actually be a "darker, more focused road trip," with the use of "in-engine cinematics that R2 excelled at."
"The tone is darker like RFOM," he expounded, "but also has some of that Americana that you saw with the Christmas decorations in the flooded city, football stadium, etc."
Resistance 3 is slated to arrive on September 6, 2011 for the PS3. That should be more than enough time for us to mull over on what this darker and more focused storyline could be about.

R2 did not have storry mode split-screen and in general it was never as catching as R1 not even in single player ..
For online shooters there are plenty of better choices COD and Battlefield e.g...
So it is the storry mode Split-screen co-op that made this stand out..
I really hope that R3 will bring back some of the "magic" that was missing in R2.
