Installing mods on Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3

When Sony said that it's embracing user-generated content for the PlayStation Network, the company meant every word of it. Epic Games is blazing the trail in that department with Unreal Tournament 3's open approach to having it modded. In this video, we're seeing some of that.

Also, you'll be taught how to download and install the mods yourself. Here we see a mod which transforms the excellent FPS action of Unreal Tournament 3 into a third-person shooting affair a la Gears of War. It's really exciting to see stuff like this and we hope to see more of it soon. 'Nuff said, enjoy the clip below.

The action cam really sucks. It causes glitches on the maps and its really hard to aim quickly in that view. Besides, UT is about the first person view. If I wanted 3rd person I would play Gears.

I've had no lag problems while using action cam, and I actually like it in 3rd person better because its easier to aim.



Im a 3rd person kinda guy, thats why I like Mgs so much I guess

Thats why I like gears of war too... theres too much of FPS that I want something like gears in the PS3.. I will try to look more of this...

Never thought that with free use of the Unreal tools for modding that we'd be able to play awesome remakes and such on the system. Hehe, halo3 mod anyone? :P lol.

I been try out the Mods and damn theres a lot of things you can do with it. but theres a WAY easier way to do it then the way the guy shows it in this video(which is the website at the top). You dont even need a computer besides setting up your folders on the USB flashdrive or what ever you decide to use.
