Info and New Screens of Army of Two |
Ó

EA's Army of Two took the saying three's a crowd too seriously, and that's very good since you can't fight through war, political turmoil and conspiracy all by your lonesome. You will have to utilize unique TWO man strategies and tactics while seamlessly transitioning between playing with intelligent Partner AI (PAI) and a live player.
Even if it's much better to spread love and not war, you'd need some big guns in the dog eat dog world of Army of Two. Customize and upgrade dozens of armament and share them with your partner, whether off or online, to save your hide. It's not only the dynamic environments of the game that include realistic character and environmental effects, such as fluid dynamics that showcase an open-ocean water-wave simulation and physics based animations that will give you a dose of reality, the contemporary politically charged storyline that centers on the impact and ethical issues of Private Military Corporations will raise your awareness too.
Army of Two is slated for release some time in 2007.

Looks like a gimmick hope not though, could probably do with out the bling stuff and just stick to good tactic and squad gameplay
this could be great, I mean, if the game is really oriented 2 player coop, so the two players could actually have to do separate things to help each others somethimes =D that would be cool, I don't see games where the two player can sometimes be splitted...
the graphics are pretty cool like for some reason i really notice the lawn chair in the picture w/the big billboard it looks really good (yea its wierd that i saw it)
while the game looks cool, if i see another game with tough looking dudes wielding all manner of firepower, i swear to god i'm going to go to every game developer in Los Angeles and lay waste to their studios!
ok, i won't, but i'd really, *REALLY* like to see something that didn't always involve tough guy shooting things. sure, it's fun to blow ***** up, but i like a little variety in my video games. something the NES, SNES, PS1 and PS2 had in spades. i wish a developer would hurry up and start the next trend so this one will die.
on the bright side, i'm all for 2 player Co-op, as the last few Co-op games i've played have been highly enjoyable, and hearken back to my NES days (the games are Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, The Warriors, Timesplitters: Future Perfect, and Medal of Honner: European Assault, or whatever it's called. it's hard to keep track).
The graphics sucks. All multi-plateforms games have crappy graphics. Why don't they just focus on one system?
best looking game ive seen in a while, looking good
I got my latest EGM and they talked about this game, it seems to have alot of original ideas built into it and some of the games story is basded on real life men who actually worked for a PMC (private millitary company) and if you doubt they exsist, the vice president use to own a Pmc, its called haliburten, so this game is going to be interesting if they do things right.
Looks awsome
