Infinity Ward slips info on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 |

A new Modern Warfare game is in the works, according to a Twitter post by Infinity Ward's community manager, saying he was reviewing voice-overs for the game:
Reviewing some radio-chatter [voice-over] we just finished recording for Modern Warfare 2 today. 'Cujo Two-One this is Vulture, solid copy on all.
Anyone surprised the game's getting a sequel? Didn't think so. Acti-Bliz confirmed last December that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 "will exist," but refused to give any details, so it's good to hear that it's already well into development. We'll probably hear more about it in the months leading to E3 this June.

Whats the slipped info? We already knew the sequel was being made and had a 2009 release date.
Here is a video that got posted on inside xbox ages ago that 402 didnt even know about lol it confirms the game/developer gives a rough release date. Then one day after showing him the video he releases that twitter update after spamming the video over kotaku lol

Actually, Call Of Duty 5 doesn't even exist.
ill be playing killzone 2, which is a hell of a lot better then CoD 1-4.2
but i will be getting COD modern warfare 2!!

This and Killzone 2 will f*** up all the other FPS games for me. After CoD4 every other FPS feels crappy and then Killzone 2 released the demo. Damn these great games. And I do hope that they add split-screen to CoD:MW 2 for even more fun although it doesn't really need it.

Even though I've been a KZ fan since I first saw it in 2003, something tells me I'll end up buying Modern Warfare 2 just to play it with friends.

He probably hated the game because of the guns. People want a game with guns of today. Online sucked too because people camped more than CoD4(damn I f****** hate campers) because of larger map.

And ill be playing lost and the damned.. you wont know what thats about mr. PS3, nah im not bashing both are good systems.. its just Killzone 2 makes me mad because the first one was such a huge let down.. i tried playing it recently, and I got through the first half of the first level.. then i stopped because the controls are so sluggish and the gameplay lacks variety, and now KZ2 is supposed to be the killer app.. i just think they should have put alot more time into the first one, hell even the psp one is waaaaay better than the ps2 one
he gonna be playing the lost and the damned, hahaha, gtaIV is great, but they messed up by not puttng the dlc on all systems. So this basically means its just gonna push me further away from wanting to play GTAIV, its online is a joke (almost rank 9 so i can talk smack if i want to), and if rockstar doesnt want to give all its consumers the goodies then they can go to an animal zoo and have an orgy for all i care, rockstar shouldnt be playing favorites even if xbox wants to be greedy idiotic peice of *****s system makers and lay the big cash down so people will say oh look, us xbox fans are getting dlc, we are better then ps3 users, well if thats all your getting is dlc for a couple games, then congrats, good for you, xbox can finally brag that they got one thing over the playstation (notice i say one) go play your gtaIV with the lost and the damned, ill be playing my games that only require one disc for big games, unlike xbox 360 who needs about 5 seperate cases to hold all the discs so they can play game.
i dont care if qj is slow this is my main source of gaming news and i love it.

ummm yea..is it me or is call of duty becoming more like o idk the madden franchise..new game every year..but not a dam thing different about it..so unapealing..but o well cant wait for kill zone 2!
