Infinity Ward: Prestige Edition will be very limited, restricted to one run only |
Ó

When the Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) showed up on UK retailer HMV's website, it quickly sold out. If that's not enough indication of how limited this item is, Infinity Ward community manager Robert "fourzerotwo" Bowling says that it's so limited, they won't make more even if demand is high.g
"We've already been asked by retailers to up the production numbers due to demand, which we immediately denied," Bowlisng told IGN in a recent interview. "We decided from the beginning that we want this to be for the hardcore fans and early adopters. The fact that it is actually limited is one of the coolest parts, which is why we've individually numbered every copy."
Bowling didn't give out any specifics on exactly how many of these items will be made, but he did make it clear that there will be no second production runs. "It was important to us that this be a true collectors' edition and as such, we do one run, and it's finished. The Prestige Edition is NOT something you're going to be seeing on the cheap 2 months after launch."

who wants this extra garbage anyway its not needed to play the game soo who cares!!!!!?????
true but the goggles could have been kinda fun to mess around with, especially if they work properly, i bet half the people who have bought the pre-orders are just gonna sell the extras on Ebay and up the price
if u really want night vision toy goggles u can get them at any toy store its not like the game comes with military quality gogles
I'm really only interested in the game only. I'll get the regular edition instead.
you get the metal case, artwork, and a download for call of duty. its the best bang for your buck!
If only so I can order a pizza and just before the delivery guy arrives, I'm gonna turn out all the lights in my apartment, and greet him at the door wearing the goggles and holding a hand full of wet dripping socks. Maybe I won't wear a shirt for added effect.
Then again, maybe I'll just not buy it.
first of all can the editor, or whomever, please correct some of the errors.
What kind of "childish" adult would want to buy a night-vision goggles?
Maybe it's a collector's edition, but in reality your just buying some piece of junk, that you can probably buy somewhere else, that the company is trying to get as much as they can.
If it were really that limited then I can see some people selling it on Ebay.com for double the price.
THIS Kind of childish adult!
You don't happen to deliver pizza do you?
