Infinity Ward hosts CoD4 Community Mapping Contest |

The folks over at Infinity Ward are hosting a very special contest for the modders out there. It's a Community Mapping Contest for Call of Duty 4, and they want all those with the know-how and the elbow grease to go and make a multiplayer map they can be proud of.Here's an excerpt of their official announcement on the Infinity Ward website:
On March 31st, we're going to be choosing our favorite community made maps and award the map makers of our favorites picks with special prizing and opportunities which we can't announce just yet but will be in the very near future (probably within a week). However the clock is ticking to get your map designed, as I said, we'll be choosing our favorite community made custom multiplayer maps on March 31st.
They mentioned opportunities. Does that mean a job? Money? Everlasting glory? Well, we're not sure about that last one, but if you do get picked as one of the favorite maps, you will probably get your name posted on the Infinity Ward website as a paragon of modding excellence, either for the PC, Xbox 360, or PS3.
If you want to join in the contest, you can download the mod tools read up on the directions at the source link below. Just remember: your map could go down in history as the greatest map EVAR. Good luck!

so .. how can we get in on this contest ? were can u get a program to create cod 4 maps ?
How about these guys get to work on the real things we need like sniper hit detection, ACOG detection, muting, host transfer, etc and stop with this bull-crap
