We all know how good the feedback coming from Activision's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare beta is, but it just might get better if there's any truth behind a rumor that's been going around. According to Spong, Infinity Ward studio head and producer Grant Collier was quoted in the Activate Asia Conference with what seemed to be a slip about CoD 4's co-op mode.
Collier was asked whether there would be a split-screen multiplayer co-op for local games or not to which he replied, "Uh, no, IÂ’m not really supposed to say anything about thatÂ… but IÂ’m a big fan of Xbox Live and downloadable content."
Whether that was indicative of things to come or simply a weird answer, we'll know when Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare hits store shelves. The game goes out for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, and the PC.
