Based on what we've seen of the game so far, that isn't too farfetched. Collier is confident that no other multiplatform title can even come close. Among the competition, he sees Halo 3 as a threat on the 360. He had a hard time naming a game for the PS3, but picked Grand Theft Auto 4. "Killzone 2 is not happening," he added.

I accutallly believe this guy seems like it IS THEE best MULTIFPS out there compared to halo still thinkin its better but yea PS3 isnt all about FPS so you wont see that much competiveness with it but other thenthat im copin this game fo sho !!!
1ST! COD4 iz gonna rule but Killzone 2 iz gonna suck GTA4 n MGS4 iz gonna overshadow it.
He probably didn't want to advertise some PS3 games that would lead to loosing custumers. How could he forget about Unreal Tournament 3 and HAZE? Both of those games have really good developers behind them. Of course i'm only mentioning FPS games because this is what we are talking about.
I think that COD4 will be good, but I dont' think it will be better than Haze or UT3...
As for him dissing Killzone 2, I don't really see how that was necessary.
COD4 is gonna be better than haze even the people who have played the beta and the demo have said it them selves. Haze will be a descent typical shooter but Unreal Tournament is gonna be the best first person shooter on ps3.
COD4 may very well be the best FPS out there. Until UT3 is out. Haze is garbage and Halo 3 will be Halo 2 on crack. Killzone 2? Rofl
Multiplatform? I wanna see this thing being multiplayer across multiple platforms!!! Let's have PS3 and XBOX360 owners on the same field! Now that would make it a killer FPS.
Haze and Unreal Tournament III will shadow COD4 on the ps3 you dumbass.
That wouldnt be very fair, what with all the framerate issues and blutooth dropouts that the ps3 suffers from. It would be far too easy for the 360 fans to pwn them.

that would be funny 10 Xbox360 players vs. 10 PS3 players but you have to cut down the 360 players by half because their console will likely freeze or red ring in the middle of the match
He was asked about games this holiday season which can challenge COD4. He mentions Halo 3 because that is out this holiday season, but he says KZ2 isn't happening because it's not out until next year!
That's what he meant.
PC: Crysis (looking way better than cod4)
X360: yeah halo3 (not good, but there is so much fans)
PS3: Haze (looking like Crysis, wich is good)
Anyway, the game is looking good, but I'm more into crysis on the PC, more into haze on the ps3(or killzone2 next year, or MGS4 next year), and errr, I'm way more into cod4 on the xbox360 than halo3, that's for sure.
PS: The game will be nice and will look awesome. :D
Ooooooh.... Guess thats what I get for not watching the video and reading QJ's summary. I still think that UT3 and Haze shouldn't be dismissed though.
However I just might need to get myself some COD4 multiplayer action with them "special skills" and all. ^_^
is this online beta ganna be released on the ps network?

im thinkin cod4 is goin to look better on the 360... just like every other multiplatform game.
only cause its their first year doin parallel programing.
And yea halo 3.. alot of fans cause halo1 got so much hype ..and everyone rushed out and bought the game...and the story kind of sucks..
But multiplayer is the BEST.
