inFamous goes gold, all set for May release

PS3 gamers are coming closer and closer to getting their hands on Sucker Punch Productions beautiful-looking open-world romp, inFamous. With the game gone gold, it's now well on its way to meeting its May 26 release date.

Keep in mind that "gold" here isn't like the one in record companies, where it's used to indicate how many copies a certain album or single has sold. In video game terms, reaching gold means that the game is now 100% finished and is ready to go into actual production.

inFamous tells the story of Cole, an everyday guy who just so happens to develop some not-so-everyday powers after his hometown gets leveled by a huge disaster. With Cole's new-found powers under your command, you must decide whether to help your fellow citizens or just watch out for yourself and no one else.
