Incognito Entertainment game producer Dylan Jobe recently discussed some of the upcoming features that will be included in Warhawk's new booster pack Operation Broken Mirror. In a recent interview conducted by Kotaku, Jobe pushed the discussion a little further by explaining the details of some of the latest "toys" gamers will get the chance to play around with in the expansion.

The new vehicle, the APC, was previously mentioned as the new forward base players can respawn around and get additional equipment from. Most would expect that such a valuable unit would most likely be a sitting duck without a proper escort, however that's where most people assume wrong.

The APC will come with a piece of equipment that is "like the mother of all bubble shields" and is a couple of hundred feet wide. This protective shield stops all weapon fire from coming in and out of the bubble. However, be warned: if a Warhawk gets too close to it, it becomes unstable and will most likely explode.

The exciting new booster pack will include a new battlefield with ten new layouts, as well as updated layouts for the existing maps. While Jobe didn't mention a release date for Operation Broken Mirror, he hopes to get it out by the end of next month, around the first half of April.

Sadly, it won't come with any new gameplay modes nor a single player campaign. Jobe explained that it was a conscious strategic decision to go purely multiplayer, as an episodic single player content may not sit well with some players.

All in all, the new expansion is definitely shaping up to be something Warhawk fans can look out for in the near future. Hopefully, we'll get to hear a little more about it before Operation Broken Mirror goes live. Keep coming back to this space for more updates.

» well...

I think 5 seconds is more than ok... if not make your own game and make it 0 seconds then lol...

» well...

youre a douche bag. its three seconds. seriously.

» single player

i think choosing to leave out single player simply because it will not sit well with some players is dumb. i for one would like to see a single player mode. for those who dont want a single player, just dont play it.

» I'm with you...

it will be better with a single player... but from what they said first it was that the single player isn't that good like the multiplayer so they quit it to not quit value of the game... but next time they need to do it to be a AAA game... they can do it...

» 3 seconds?

» you suck then

I'm sorry, but everyone plays on a level playing field with respawn times. If you're that good, you can pull yourself back up to 67, regardless of respawn times. It's not like anyone's getting an advantage.

Just admit, you suck more than you used to and better people have come on to push you out of your spot.
