Hyperkin to release accessories for the PlayStation Move

The Wiimote has had a million accessories - there's common stuff like swords and rackets, then there are Wii-dumbells and baby dolls that you can cuddle and swaddle. Heck, there's even a patent for an inflatable horseback riding peripheral that'll make you look like you're dry humping the floor. Well, the PlayStation Move controller will have none of those strange things. At least, not yet. For now, peripherals company Hyperkin has a set planned, designed for the Move launch title, Sports Champions.

For US$ 30, the "Sports Victory Set" can turn your Move controller into a shield, a small sword, a bow, and a ping pong paddle. Hyperkin is now taking pre-orders and is expecting to have them ready by September 21st.

one problem i notice is that the ball will need to be facing the camera. so, the ping pong paddle can't be twisted much i bet. same with the sword

These types of add-on are ridiculous. They do not add anything, not even realism. Also, yeah I see them interfering with the "Move"ment detection as well.

So I have a Wii, and PS3 (might get an xbox later, maybe christmas). I do want to get move, but I will not buy these...maybe for kids, but not for me [why?]. I like using my imagination, my sword could be a Katana, or Excalibur, etc. Maybe I want my bow to be a cross bow, or a Decurve bow, I want it my way =D.
