Lucky gamers in Hong Kong and Singapore get to participate in a special promotional campaign for PlayStation Home. All it takes is an ounce of detective work, and Home residents can be awarded with PSN money!SCE Asia is giving away HK$ 10 (around US$ 1.50) to anyone who can track down their mysterious "Money God" Home avatar. The promo runs from January 15 to 22, and the reward money would be credited to winning accounts some time early February.
Participants should look for a URL in one of the posters in Home, and from there, find clues to the identity of this Money God avatar. Once he/she has been tracked down, all you have to do is greet them, and poof, your PSN wallet goes ka-ching!
Yeah, I know the reward isn't that big a deal, really (it's not even enough to buy a PSN game!); however, the simple fact that SCE Asia is hosting this promotion is quite admirable. Here's to hoping other regions do this too!
