Home Beta v1.0 info leaked; November 20 release date?

A leak from PlayStation Home's European private forums gives us a stolen look at info from the upcoming version 1.0 release of Home. The guy who leaked the info was caught - apparently he used the same name in the forums as the one he used to leak the info. Screenshots are slippery creatures though, and managed to escape.

Screenshots are there below, clicky clicky. Of interest to those of us who are not part of the beta yet is the November 20 release date. We can expect more invites to go out then, so you might want to look forward to that. There's some interesting info there about Spaces, Clubs, and stores.

Note that this leak was from the European board, meaning we can expect most of the info to hold the same for other regions, but not all.

Things...

Wow. It takes up 3 Gigs? I didn't think it would be so huge... that's kind of ridiculous. I feel bad for people that bought echochrome! Ha! Now they're just going to be giving it away. Way to go, Sony.

I don't think you understand

From what I understand EchoChrome will give Home rewards such as clothes, so say you get a trophy you may unlock a new t-shirt. Sony already said they wanted to give people rewards for trophies. P.S. Is this the open beta? If so can't wait!

mmm

im actualy pleased with recent developments lua scripting, remember when they said user content might be coming, mmmm, it would be great if programming also comes with that, arcade games even, bring homebrew, but limit it, so it doesnt take away to much from sales clubs is good, however a bit to unnecessarily limited, why can you only be part of clubs, i understand only owning one as this can take server space, but what are they going to the extreme of limiting a reference to a club in your profile

???

come on already with the game

by RexNox - 2008-11-18 15:59:55
how much..

did Sony pay you to say that.

echochrome

@girandhistacos: I just feel bad for people that bought echochrome, period. :-) ...One of the few true 'stinkers' on PSN (along with GripShift + Calling All Cars). ....Anyway, although it looks here like Thursday 11/20 is a high-probability for v1.0 in the Closed-Beta .....it would REALLY rock if they were actually able to go Open-Beta only 1 day after M$'s NXE. That would certainly take all the thunder out of Microsoft's sails. ;-)

its not a game

as quote "Home itself is not a game and therefore not age rated"

by coolbot - 2008-11-18 18:17:22

Clubbing

(SORRY for wall of text MY PS3 Browser doesnt line break for some reason) this feature sounds interesting to hell wirt Home hates I'll never knock free online social community software or ANY free software for that matter no matter how long it takes. Seriously Sony's damned if they do and damned if they dont. If they release it early like "everyone" wanted you vultures would have wihined about it being incomplete but if they get it right and wait "lets ***** about it takin to long some more" so Sony says "lets just do the logical thing cant pleae all lets just please ourselves by releasing a finished product and piss a few mill people off but they'll forget about it when it comes or shortly after" now all they have to do is live up to at least 75% of the hype and we're all good believe it or not since most of us dont remember all the lost features of PS2 or 3 months after release

..?

Nothing, that question doesn't even make sense.

Off Topic

I use a my old Mac keyboard on my PS3, and I've found that if I hold down the Alt key, then press Return, it does a sexy little line break. If you're not using a Mac keyboard, try a different key-combo. Something will work. If you're not using a keyboard, I'll just shut up lol!
