Hideo Kojima - Image 1 The days leading up to the launch of Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be extremely hectic for series creator Hideo Kojima. He'll be globetrotting for quite a while, and this week he'll be touching down in the UK.

Mr. Kojima will be in London to receive his Guinness World Record certification for some of his achievements. Among these are for Metal Gear, the first video game to fully utilize stealth as part of the gameplay and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, the biggest selling stealth game on PlayStation 2.

Those are just two of the many fun facts that you'll find in the Guinness World Records 2008 book. It's available now in bookstores everywhere, so check it out. With the way things are shaping up for MGS4, it just might find itself in the 2009 edition. Keep your fingers crossed, stealth fans.
