Heavy Rain to be 'fully satisfying' even without DLC yet |

Gotta love David Cage. He knows his cards. He's playing it pretty well too, if we go by this recent quote from him. As it seems, he's going for the route less travelled - one which forgoes having to rely on microtransactions to make a game "good."
Yes, Heavy Rain has already been planned to be getting DLC. Back in August, downloadable episodes were revealed to be a possibility. But what's important here is that, though Quantic Dream already has a couple in mind, they still want to give the game its bang for the buck factor. A quote from Cage:
Honestly, my focus is on putting as much content as possible on the Blu-ray. We have many plans for DLC, but I wonÂ’t work on them until the game is finished and fully satisfying. Games are expensive; my focus is to give as much as I can to gamers for their money.
Yes, that's good news for you, the consumer. Though of course, for one to call something "fully satisfying" - that's pretty subjective. For example, the game's playtime is clocked to last for about 8 to 12 hours. For me that's fine. "Fully satisfying," at least for me, isn't determined by length.

Sure, I'll get flamed for the reason that I'm not appreciating its story-driven premise enough, but hey I'm paying 60 bucks to play a GAME. I want to have fun. Sure, the movie might be good, but I could just watch it on youtube once someone beats this "game."
