Heavy Rain to be "censored" in different regions, due to interactive sex scene? |

Ó
Rumors of this scene first came out in the Italian PS blog, UPSBlogit, sometime in late August. No one from Quantic Dream really bothered to clarify or address it - blatantly or otherwise - until de Fondaumiere, that is. In a video interview, he said,
We wanted to have pretty much the same game everywhere, be it in Europe, in the United States, or in Japan, of course, with slight adaptations, for instance, the Japanese version. But I don't think the changes we made will make a big difference, so that those are real modular things. We felt the need to adapt the content to the culture.
Check out the interview below. He also provides a look at two new scenes never before seen by the public:

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against sexual scenes in games. When they're appropriate. They have their place, to emphasise a relationship between 2 characters. If it can simply be removed and he can say "I don't think it will make a difference" though, then it's unnecessary and shouldn't be in. They're putting it in, just to have sex in the game.
