Heavenly Sword is a fantastic looking martial arts drama set in a mythical time way out in the Far East. This game will combine authentic martial arts moves along with a freestyle combat system that will allow people to freely switch between various fighting styles. You can change the way you wield your sword and even switch weapons on the fly, and you can expect that there will be a massive combo list to learn. Instead being a pure button masher, Heavenly Sword will incorporate an emotional storyline along with an in-depth battle system that will truly show off the PS3's power.

As far as I'm concerned they need to do some polishing up on the graphics. Hopefully its just cause its in Beta form, but those graphics look grainy.

Since afte the PS3 I will never touch a 360 again, perhaps only when the 360 emulator is released for the PS3



I think you guys should pick up the magazine. I wonder which one it is. Its plain to see the grainy look comes from paper. Just look at most scans and this is a poor quality scan. Even from the poor quality the games looks exactly like the video but with grain. Do you see the tranperancy in her clothes. also it looks like the game will be heavy in physics (breakable environment and rag doll physics on enemies) I cant wait. Finally we are seeing real next gen stuff

Yes guys, as 5 most aptly pointed out these are magazine scans of action. So it's not surprising how grainy things are. If you want to see the real thing try looking at previews on a gaming site that were shown at TGS'05. The game graphics are amazing and the gameplay looks really interesting and I personally can't wait for this game to come out.

i can already smell the haters, but those pic up there even though they are grainy cause they are scans they still look almost like the video sony showed at e3 and this is the first wave of ps3 games, hope they make it a launch title
