Have fun while it lasts: Killzone 2 beta ends this week

Curtains are about to close on the Killzone 2 beta run; hope all you guys were able to squeeze out dozens of hours with that beta invite they sent you. Guerrilla Games has confirmed to Eurogamer that the beta for the game will end this Sunday - November 30, if I'm not mistaken.

Accordingly, this will be the third and last beta run (aww), after which, the team will be going back for tweaks and reworks (which we now apparently know to cost - projectively speaking, of course - about 60% of a studio's total budget for a game). Already they've revealed that they'll be tweaking the Revive and Shotgun range aspects, based on beta user feedback.

Let's hope that these guys get their project schedules in line for a timely release on February next year.
