Harmonix says final Rock Band release date for Canada is December 20

Cover art for Rock Band - Image 1Tired of hearing about the various delays that have plagued Harmonix's Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360) shipments? This will hopefully be the last time you'll have to wait as Harmonix has officially confirmed that Rock Band will be released in Canada on December 20, 2007.

According to Harmonix, the December 20 Canada release date is the final Rock Band release date, and the date will apply to both Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 versions of Rock Band. Harmonix has yet to confirm the announcement for the Sony PS2 version of the game, though.

After a trial of patience, it appears that Canadian players will finally get to enjoy their long-awaited jamming sessions. Still, perhaps Harmonix and Rock Band distributors should look into having an armed escort along with the shipment, just in case.

Went to EB, this older guy behind the counter said they were maxed out across Canada. Would be impossible to get one if you weren't one of the first 4 people per store to preorder. It maybe be on its way to Canada, but not in huge amounts. If you really need one, I would check Ebay from time to time.

They say that about every game though, I would've taken the eBay route but their all so overpriced, yeah I want to get the game but I don't want to pay $80 more then I could get it for if I just wait
