This week, we got a couple of updates about drum kit compatibility issues for Guitar Hero: World Tour (Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, and Wii).The first one should come as good news for owners of the game's Xbox 360 version. Xbox 360 users can now download an update that lets them use Alesis' kickass ION Drum Rocker kit in Guitar Hero: World Tour.
The next bit of news isn't too good, however. According to Neversoft, they've done everything they can to make their drum and guitar controllers compatible with the PS3 versions of Rock Band and Rock Band 2, but the drum kit won't function with both Rock Band PS3 titles until Harmonix rolls out an update for them.
So I guess what they're saying here is, "Go bug Harmonix."

WTF? It's a standard controller. There is no reason they wouldn't be able to get it to work. They must be going above and beyond the standard.
