Guerrilla taking a step back from Killzone 2 |
Ó

The Napalm & Cordite map pack may be the last Killzone 2 DLC we'll be seeing for a while. According to Guerrilla's Seb Downie, they'll be taking a step back from Killzone 2 for a while to assess what they'll be taking care of next.
Here's Downie's post on the European PlayStation Blog:
Right now weÂ’re going to take a step back from Killzone 2. WeÂ’ve been working non-stop since the disc version was released on patches, DLC and http://www.killzone.com updates, so need some time to reflect on what is actually out there.
Considerong the amount of post-launch support Guerrilla has provided for Killzone 2, I'd say these guys deserve the rest. Of course, this doesn't mean that Guerrilla's done with the game, as Downie also says further down in the thread that "there's still a lot to come" from Guerrilla.

That is a great example of a great game. I couldn't want more out of it.
If anyone complains about a lack of DLC from them, they will die from dysentery.
i was hoping for some new classes , just because i have played this game from day 1 online (and still loving it). so yea i wish we had that , but its still a great game and it "had" real good support. but just to put this out there im a huge command and conquer player so im used to support as long as the community is still active.
This isn't necessarily them stopping all support. It just means that they will take a break and look at what players really want out of the game. Maybe in a few months they will come back with something cool like split screen online or more large scale levels larger than pyrus.
to take a break and find some maps that are worth a frak. All 6 maps that they came out with suck compared to the ones on the disc. And Suljeva Village is just hazzy and blurry as heck... totally worthless map that one is.
