GT5 launch in New Zealand corrected

Now that a date's been set (yet again) for Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 for Europe and North America, it wouldn't be fair for those in other regions to be waiting for it based on wrong information. New Zealand's GT5 release date stands corrected, thanks to their local Sony office.

According to Sony Computer NZ, the originally (as in most recent) announced date of November 24th for GT5 is a wrong one. The error isn't so grave anyway as the actual release date is just a day away - November 25th.

Polyphony big boss Yamauchi has been quoted as saying earlier that, "Gran Turismo 5 is an ambitious project, with challenges and complexities which have made it our own version of the Apollo Space Programme! I can only apologize to everyone for making you wait so long, and I hope that when you try out the wealth of driving experiences available in Gran Turismo 5, you will not be disappointed."

Yes, that's still one more sleep than the NZ gamers would have wanted, but hey, at least it's finally coming, right? Hopefully.
