Grand Theft Auto 4 Missions - Image 1We have an inkling why it took the testers 40 hours to finish Rockstar North's Grand Theft Auto 4 (PS3, Xbox 360). Well, it's probably because of the missions included in the game itself. We got preview information on the five missions.

The first mission is called "Call and Collect." Niko will be ordered by McReary to kill a blackmailer in the game. Second is " Final Interview." It's where Niko takes on the boys in blue after eliminating Tom Goldberg. Third's "Search and Delete." Brucie will ask Niko to "delete" a police informant so that he could testify in court. Still want more? We'll give you more in the next paragraph.

Fourth is "Deconstuction for Beginners." Now this is pretty exciting, using sniper rifles, Niko and Playboy X will try to take out enemy lookouts found in the city. Lastly, "Truck Hustle." In this mission, Niko will have to climb through the windows of trucks in order the to steal loads and loads of heroin.

Did the information whet your appetite to know more? Well, if it did, then feel free to read more about the missions in the source link below. Don't forget to check out QJ.NET for more updates on this game.

» just kinda realized this

Why is it called GTAIV? Its technically the 6th in the series. Or if you add the stories games for the psp. Then it would be the 8th. I would understand if they didn't name GTAIII what they did. Considering it was the first non-top down version, it would have been understandable. They didn't do that though. They named it GTAIII and now 3 games after they have GTAIV. What the crap? Why cant they just go they way they were going and keep it simple.

» Liberty City

The reasoning for calling the game GTAIV is that it is the forth platform game to take place in Liberty City. Consider San Andreas, Vice City, and the PSP versions to be secodary games than the GTA of Liberty City.

it could also be because its a dramatic step up

gta3 went in to become a fantastic 3d game

gta4 must offer something new aswell

» Here's why.

Think of the sequels to GTA3 as part of the same series... almost like the Jay and Silent Bob movies.

They're all part of the same story and universe. They're all connected in some way, shape and form.

Vice City and San Andreas weren't all that different than GTA3, so the developers felt that giving them city names was more suitable than labelling it an entirely new game.

GTAIV is a huge step up and away from the past games, and is not connected in any way to the old ones.
