Gran Turismo 5: Prologue's 2nd trailer |
Listed in: PS3 Tags: Polyphony Digital
Ó
The video is the second trailer for Gran Turismo 5's Prologue, and this writer is finding it hard to keep from drooling. To say it simply, if some real footage was played beside the video in question, we won't be able to tell which one's real. Anyway, in the video, we get another look at the Nissan GT-R Proto (ooh, shiny...) and some race scenes showing off a number of the cars.
We'll stop right there to keep ourselves prattling on and on. Stay tuned for more news and info about Gran Turismo 5: Prologue for the PlayStation 3. Ready... Set... Press play.

What I like about these graphics, is that the creators took considerable time to make the cars look "real". In other words, they didnt add super shiny graphics or an insane amount of blur to make the game look good.
These cars look like they have been used and driven. You can see the individual body panels modeled. all the driver movements, and all the gritty aspects of a real car, because in real life, you dont see cars with 5 coats of wax racing!
God damn, I can wait for this!

PGR4 looks easily as good if not better than this.
You people know that you dont have to agree with everything you read in magazines and on websites.
GT really is overrated,(Just like DMC and MGS) and the cars STILL look like they are hovering on the track.
Yes I do have a PS3 bit I just can't get excited over essentially the same goodamn game that has evolved lilttle since the original.
600 cars and only 8 or so ae fun to drive and don t handle like a shopping cart.
I truley belive that western game designers have suparssed Japanese ones in this gerneration.
Same crap different lick of paint.
Flame away if you must but is just my opinion.

Let's just stay on the subject of GT5 please, which looks superb imo, but then Polyphony have been masters of this genre for a decade. I just hope they can include damage eventually, and hopefully much better AI this time, since I prefer a racing sim than just a driving sim.

this is a Low-res one,i,m sure there is a higher res one,but the game is far from the E3 2007 trailer
looks very average and seems to have some framerate problems
i wish developers stop showing bumped up Images and trailers of their games

You know a game looks good when it's being compared to the real thing. I'd like to see any other racer do that.

I would be happy which ever platform that game was on. Seems to me you're determined not to be impressed. Anyway, this is not about PGR4, it's about GT5, which does look fantastic.

Just as they are many cars in the world, GT attempts to allow drivers of different interests to sample the cars they love.
an '86 Corolla Levin may not mean much to some, but to "Initial D" fans, it approaches the Holy Grail just by being what it is, the Initial D car. Some folkes may not care for rally cars built 20 or so years ago but Group B Rally Cars have a HUGE following world wide with die hard fans.
As for the cars floating on tracks, you must be joking. NO OTHER GAME DOES IT BETTER. NONE. Just look at the replay on any GT game and any other driving game and name the one that does it better.

Perfect.

No Playstation dev came close to matching their GT1/2 graphics, no PS2 dev came close to matching their GT3/4 graphics, therefore expect the same for GT5.
