Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes before races? Pit crews, drivers, and the shiny shiny cars? Well, we've got some screenshots straight from Polyphony Digital's upcoming PlayStation 3 video game, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, that illustrate just what happens backstage of the race track.
Remember the last batch of screenshots? More cars are showcased this time around (with this writer's personal favorite, the Nissan GT-R Proto): Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Ferrari F430, Alfa Romeo Brera, Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione, Audi R8, Audi TT 3.2 Quattro, and BMW Z4 3.0i. Whew. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is definitely a car enthusiast's dream come true.
Anyway, check out the screenshots and tell us what you think. In case you need reminding, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is set to invade the shelves (or the PlayStation Network) worldwide in October 26. In the meantime, ogle all you like.

nice graphics. can barely tell the difference from real or video game. the people need work though but it is a racing game so who cares.
But Forza ain't got sh1t on GT. Forza I mean GT HD already looked better than the latest Forza and now Gt Prologue is really puting it to shame. This games looks amazing and this is just a prelude of whats to come in GT5. Simply AMAZING!!!!

wow i got a xbox 360 and a ps3 i only used the ps3 once and i used the xbox 360 all the time but now i f.u.c.k.d the xbox 360 and out the window it gowns after i c gt5 i used the ps3 and its alot beder x360 i can't wit
Playing Bioshock at the moment Phew what a fantastic game, getting Blue Dragon and Moto Gp 07 on Monday to play on my loverly new 120gb Elite I brought yesterday. Have fun with those pictures.
LMAO firstly your looking at some shots of cars inside a garage right!!! that means NOTHING until you see the actual cars running around the tracks etc and not dropping framerates, do you think a few mockup screenshots inside a garage has any resemblance whatsoever to the actual game?. LOL be serious.
The 360 and the PC could show exactly the same pictures and that is all they are pictures it means nothing to the actual game if the game engine etc isnt up to it.
Anyway im off to play Bioshock NOT coming to the PS3 offical confirmed.
Blue Dragon wow its amazing and Moto 07 take a look at the extreme mode if you want to see a game engine that really shows the power of next gen consoles.

Everyone knows that the PS3's "power" still hasnt even come close to being tapped.
I've played the demo, and it's just Oblivion under water. What a load of cack! I'd rather suck crap through an old tramp's sock than play Bio***** all the way through. You 360 owners have some proper drivel on that mediocre games machine of yours. Why do you get so excited about crap games, I could make an exclusive turd and you'd lap it up because it wasn't on PS3. It's beginning to show that hardware holds you back my xbot chums, for us it's a lack of developer knowledge but soon even that won't be a problem and you'll start to be left behind. The proof is already starting to show, just look at the graphics on GT5 will you. Marvel in it's glory. If it could be done on any other platform why have I not seen anything that has remotely come close (even with the year and half head start eh?). Face facts. The future is ours, the future is PS3. Mwaaa haaaa haa ha!!!

stfu 360 fanboys, support ur system and don't cross over to OUR turf...or we will really get mad and start trolling your turf and no body wants that. 360 games is a great system a all but Gears of War is as far as it goes in terms of graphical fidelity...sure maybe Crytek, being a very talented developer may in fact squeeze a little more potential from the 360, but face it, the PS3 packs more muscle under the hood and that's a fact. Games like GT5 cannot be done on 360. And games like Killzone 2, Final FantasyXIII (as much as how good it looks, everything is on PS3, not prerendered like some 360 fanboys believed), and PS3 will also make use of the CryEngine 2 and output far better graphics than any game i've mentioned above..so PS3 is the next best thing to have next to a 2007 crazy gaming rig. Not the 360!
Ya well if 360 is so good then why are companies having to go to making people get hard drives or maybe even bigger hard drives for their 360s cause of the lack of space. Lol time will wear on the 360 when companies try to make their dreams come to light with huge worlds that cant fit unless you have a 100GB or more hard drive for your 360
