Gran Turismo 5 Indy Cars putters out

Sorry guys, but apart from the delay, another heartbreak is coming your way via the Gran Turismo 5 track. Remember when it was confirmed last month that Indy cars were included? Well, they're not.

This bit of news was revealed in the PlayStation: The Offiical Magazine, who recently rectified their then-story.

"In our February 2010 cover story on Gran Turismo 5, we incorrectly stated that Indy (IRL) racing cars and tracks would appear in the game. While the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will indeed appear in GT5, Indy cars currently will not."

"Currently"? Does this mean that there's still room for a "later" release? I'd like to hold on to that hope.

all i know is that sony is really kiliing themselves with their own medicine, this is ridiculous no gran turismo for the ps3 in 4 years just cause they are trying to do the super game of the millenium which is going to turn out to be the biggest disappointment because cars dont even wreck so i really dont know what in the hell is on their minds but some people need to get fired for not doing the job and spending time and money. sony just release the game alright you can still make gt6 who cares just make something and stop changing your mind so much

PD gotta get their sh1t together, honestly. 5+ years, still getting delayed and now we get "Uh, sorry! some features aren't coming". Frack that. Learn to bring in help, double your GD team and get the sh1t done, people AREN'T going to wait for ever.

Yamauchi better be careful or people could start referring to him as the next George Broussard.

i know this game is not a zelda game.....man uncharted 2 came out faster than GT and it looks amazing.
